In order to enhance and protect the page we have set it within a brown frame with mount.

Below the picture an inscription reads:
Rio De Janeiro. – Visitors to Rio during the spring, summer and autumn months are recommended to sleep out of the city, among some of the many mountain resorts. The nearest of these is the hotel at Paneiras, on the Corcovada Railway. The station at Larangeiras is reached by the tram-cars from the corner of the Rua do Ouvidor – the Regent Street of Rio – and the Rua de Goncaloes Dias. A splendid drive through the best part of the city takes the traveller, in about 35min., to Larangeiras, and the trams occupy about 20min. in their ascent to the hotel, which is about 1,700ft. above the sea level; the journey to the summit, 600ft. higher, is accomplished in about 5min. Tijuca, another favourite resort, is reached by tram from the end of the Rua do Ouvidor, which passes through the city and the suburbs, and reaches the foot of the hill in about 40min.
